A first look at our upcoming 1/48 scale American Airborne.

I was at Tom Meier's studio on Friday and when I held this little masterpiece in my hands- wow!

My plan was to wait until closer to our projected release date in July to share most of our creations with you. However, the moment Tom emailed me these images I new I could not wait. I think you will all agree- tremendous.

A note to all of you interested- Please help me spread the word- any help I can get is appreciated and I am getting a little nutty about the whole project.

I cannot wait to take orders and get them in your hands!

I will be giving a lot more information and filling in the Website spots in the next month or so. Until then any questions or comments please just shoot away-

WOW!!!

I can't wait to get these!

Eventually, you might want to think of some vehicle crews after you get the bulk of the planned infantry figures out.

Are these 1/48 figures going to be in metal or plastic? And do you know what the pricing is yet? they are the nicest 1/48 figures is have seen!

Is Tom Meier using some kind of wizardry to shrink large scale figs down to 1/48? Up till now I've considered Dartmoor and Hecker Goros the best in 1/48 metal, but these little guys by Tom just blows everything else away. Can't wait till I have one in hand!

Pegoze: They'll be in white metal, like Games Workshop, Rackham and Reaper tabletop wargaming figs.

Jim: I am 100% convinced these will be fantastic figures and I'm 100% behind them. Drop the guys at Model Military a sample or two (http://www.modelmilitary.com/) and I'm sure they'll sing their praises. Also websites like Track48.com and Missing-Lynx.com are good for reaching your potential customers.

Stunningly excellent, I just saw the other new one on Tom's blog and those helmets are especially impressive.
Its nice to see the range moving along so quickly!
